Hopewell Valley Regional School District

On Saturday, March 26th, the CHS Choir program competed against choirs from 8 other schools in jazz and classical music. We also sponsored 4 soloists. Here are the results:

Grace Lee: Honorable Mention Outstanding Soloist
Elliott Block: Runner Up Soloist
Vox Central Jazz: Silver Rating
Chamber Singers: Gold rating and Classical Choir Grand Champions!

CHS has competed at the Roxbury Invitational for 10+ years. The event brings the best choirs from NJ and surrounding states together for a competitive and enriching festival. The clinicians are comprised of the country's best higher education choral educators and professional vocal performers. This year our groups were adjudicated by two members of the New York Voices, Broadway star Elizabeth Stanley, retired Harvard professor Thomas Jones, and the choral directors from Messiah College, TCNJ, and Rowan University.
